ELPD, and AB 430 Professional Development Institutes
Action Learning Systems is an approved State Board of Education
provider for SB 472 and AB 430 (Modules 1, 2, and 3) professional
development institutes. Our trainings actively engage all participants
in continuous professional growth in a collaborative environment.
Participants will have opportunities to increase knowledge, improve
performance, and enhance professional satisfaction while ensuring
student mastery of grade level content standards. In addition to
learning the scientific research of a program, participants gain
knowledge of the program's organization, pacing, and instructional
components.
SB 472 Professional Development Institutes for Teachers Action Learning Systems is a leader in providing
quality training for instructional materials.
ALS provides an interactive 5-day (40 hour) institute for intensive
intervention teachers in the implementation of Hampton Brown: High
Point. This informative training is based on state academic content
standards, curriculum frameworks, and research-based instructional
strategies designed to ensure mastery of Grades 1-6 grade level
content standards.

The institute focuses on the effective and efficient use of SBE-adopted materials to ensure mastery of content standards for your English learners. Demonstrations and modeling of key routines from your adopted materials illustrate instructional strategies that focus on the critical needs of English learners, and include:
